About the role

At Walden Street School, we are seeking a Master's Level Clinician/Therapist to join our dynamic team. Our program offers comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff. We provide training in cutting-edge treatment models and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Convey passion for helping others with an energetic and positive approach
  • Bring innovative and individualized treatment plans to support students in achieving their clinical and treatment goals
  • Manage a caseload of students to help them develop life skills such as cooking, banking, vocational skills, and more
  • Support students in developing a sense of self and preparing them for their next steps

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy required
  • Clinical licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LICSW, LMFT) or ability to sit for clinical licensure required
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license due to the requirement of transporting students

Qualifications

  • Experience with physical interventions and verbal de-escalations
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed

Skills

  • Ability to work with adolescents in a trauma-informed care setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of treatment models such as the ARC framework, SMART, and Neurofeedback Therapy

Pay

The pay range for this position is $50,000 to $75,000 per year. The actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, licensure, certifications, and qualifications.
