Responsibilities

• Perform regular lawn maintenance tasks to keep lawns healthy and attractive
• Apply appropriate treatments for weeds, grubs, and other pests
• Use proper techniques for aeration and seeding to improve soil health
• Implement natural lawn care practices to promote sustainable landscaping
• Conduct soil tests and implement recommended treatment plans
• Manage irrigation systems to conserve water and ensure optimal plant growth
• Control and manage pests like moles and voles
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences
• Adhere to all safety protocols and follow company policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of related experience in lawn care or horticulture
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques

Qualifications

• Knowledge of common lawn diseases and how to manage them
• Understanding of soil composition and its impact on plant health
• Experience with lawn mowers, spreaders, and other lawn care equipment
• Basic knowledge of plant biology and ecology
