Responsibilities
- Aid in media relations by drafting press releases, coordinating responses to media inquiries, scheduling interviews with hospital leaders, and maintaining relationships with local news outlets.
- Support reputation and brand management by ensuring all public-facing materials adhere to the hospital’s branding guidelines and align with its mission, values, and priorities.
- Create and manage content such as social media posts, newsletters, website updates, brochures, and patient stories that highlight hospital services, achievements, staff spotlights, community events, or new programs.
- Coordinate community outreach efforts by assisting with planning healthcare fairs, screenings, charity events, and other community programs designed to enhance the hospital’s visibility and goodwill.
- Maintain a positive image by monitoring public sentiment through tracking social media mentions, reviews, and community feedback, and responding to concerns as necessary.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business (Development), or a related field is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in a related field (such as business development, sales, or marketing) is required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting is required, with physician relations being a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of field marketing/sales/business development experience is required.
- Strong independent decision-making and communication skills are essential.
- Program planning and/or project management experience and evaluation are preferred.
- Critical thinking skills are required.
- The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with others is necessary.
