About the role
The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting marketing, promotions, and guest engagement efforts for both Rocket City and the General Tribal Store. This position assists with the planning and execution of on-site promotions, events, and guest activities while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities

- Provide guests with directions or other venue information.
- Act upon all comments/complaints in a prompt, professional and friendly manner.
- Support guest participation in promotional activities, tournaments, birthday events, and community programs.
- Aid in organizing, preparing, and executing Rocket City promotions, special events, and community outreach activities (schools, senior centers, leagues).
- Perform event setup tasks including signage placement, registration check-in, prize distribution, and raffle execution.
- Communicate event details to guests and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain working knowledge of all products, services, and promotions at Rocket City, General Store and IMGR&C properties.
- Assist with capturing content for social media or marketing use (photos, short videos, guest quotes), when requested, consistent with brand guidelines.
- Track guest participation to support marketing analysis and follow-up efforts.
- Help maintain promotional materials, event supplies, and display inventory.
- Communicate operational challenges or guest trends that could inform marketing improvements.
- Support Rocket City venue staff as needed to ensure successful execution of events and promotions.
Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1–2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, events, or marketing preferred.
- Experience supporting events or promotions is a plus.
- Familiarity with basic office software and communication tools.
