Marketing Assistant NF-03.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with supervisor, higher-level managers, and Information Technology specialists in applying and implementing website initiatives.
• Evaluates user requirements and advises on design capabilities and maintenance responsibilities.
• Assists in the production of marketing plans and materials.
• Communicates MWR program promotions and advertisements to the Installation population through flyers, posters, bulletin boards, calendars, emails, announcements, and other media.
• Assists in the marketing and coordination of annual MWR special events.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
• Must meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for this position.
• A one-year probationary period may be required.
• Must satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para. 2, including a Tier 1 background investigation.
• Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of website maintenance and 1-3 years of experience in marketing.
• Must possess organizational skills and be able to work quickly in a web-based environment.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment under pressure to meet project deadlines and specific tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

Highly preferred eligible candidates will be referred to management first. In addition to meeting the above qualifications, highly preferred criteria include:

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver).
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a similar field.
