Marketing Assistant NF-03.

Serves as the primary point of contact for online marketing, ensuring all web content is accurate, current, accessible, and compliant with higher-level command and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with supervisors, managers, and IT specialists to implement, update, and maintain website initiatives and digital marketing tools.
• Evaluates user requirements and provides guidance on website design features, functionality, and ongoing maintenance responsibilities.
• Assists in developing marketing plans and producing promotional materials to support MWR programs and initiatives.
• Communicates and distributes MWR promotions through multiple media channels and supports the planning and coordination of annual MWR special events.

• A one-year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
• Able and willing to work days, nights, weekends, and special events as needed.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of website maintenance and 1-3 years experience in marketing.
• Must possess organizational skills and be able to work quickly in a web-based environment.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment under pressure to meet project deadlines and specific tasks.
• Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe CS4 (Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign) is preferred.
• Specialized education obtained in coursework related to marketing, interactive communications, or another related field is preferred.

This job is part of a pay-banded system. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
