The organization focuses on outreach campaigns that encourage people to pursue careers in business and develop principled leadership. It offers training programs to help business leaders grow in ways that align with ethical and values-driven practices. Principled Business also connects business leaders with one another and shares stories of principled businesses with the public to inspire broader change in the business community.
About the role
These are full-time, Marketing and Operations roles based in Austin, TX. It involves planning and executing outreach and marketing campaigns that promote the organization’s mission and programs, including training and networking initiatives for business leaders. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating events, managing communications across email, social media, and partner channels, and supporting market research to identify target audiences and new opportunities. The role also includes collaborating with internal teams to streamline operational processes, maintain accurate records and reports, and ensure a high-quality experience for program participants and partners. The individual in this role will regularly interact with stakeholders, help nurture relationships with business leaders, and provide support for fundraising and promotional activities as needed.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute outreach and marketing campaigns to promote the organization’s mission and programs, including training and networking initiatives for business leaders.
- Cook up and manage communications across email, social media, and partner channels.
- Support market research to identify target audiences and new opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operational processes, maintain accurate records and reports, and ensure a high-quality experience for program participants and partners.
- Regularly interact with stakeholders, help nurture relationships with business leaders, and provide support for fundraising and promotional activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage stakeholders, participants, and partners in a professional and inclusive manner.
- Experience with Marketing Strategy and Market Research to design, analyze, and refine outreach and campaign efforts.
- Sales and relationship-building skills to support program enrollment, partnerships, and fundraising initiatives.
- Organizational and project management abilities to coordinate events, programs, and operational activities effectively.
- Proficiency with common office and marketing tools (e.g., CRM systems, email marketing platforms, spreadsheets, presentation software).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated interest in principled business practices, ethical leadership, or mission-driven organizations.
- Ability to work on-site in Austin, TX, collaborate with a small team, and adapt to evolving organizational needs.
