Essential Responsibilities
- Manage MARC’s social media platforms, website, and digital communication channels.
- Create and distribute engaging content, including social media posts, newsletters, press releases, blogs, email campaigns, photography, and video.
- Develop marketing materials and maintain consistent branding across all communications and events.
- Support fundraising efforts through donor database management, gift processing, donor acknowledgments, reporting, and sponsorship solicitation.
- Aid in the planning, promotion, and execution of fundraising events, Agency programs, and community initiatives.
- Cook up event logistics, volunteer engagement, promotional materials, and on-site event support.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, sponsors, businesses, and local organizations.
- Represent MARC at networking, advocacy, and community events to increase awareness of the organization’s mission.
- Track and analyze marketing performance metrics to support organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with staff across departments to support communications, special projects, and agency-wide objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Journalism, or three years’ experience in marketing/communications.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills.
- Proven working experience in social media marketing and/or digital marketing.
- Knowledge of graphic design.
- Knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act quickly and remain positive and calm in a crisis.
- Ability to drive and have available a personal vehicle.
- Ability to organize, be flexible, maintain a neat work area, and work independently.
- Ability to learn new technology in a timely manner.
Physical Efforts
- Frequent sitting, walking, standing, and driving.
- Ability to stand, sit, use a telephone and use a computer.
- Ability to lift and transfer up to 30 lbs.
