Job Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair high speed, highly technical computer-controlled manufacturing and packaging equipment
• Responsible for logistical module management associated with daily operation of the equipment
• Perform quality checks and record them in our automated computer system programs
• Interpret statistical data to make quality and productivity decisions
• Maintain our work area in accordance with all sanitation and housekeeping standards
• Communicate maintenance and quality activities by using complex computer reporting systems

Job Qualifications

• One to three years of industrial experience required, preferably in a high-speed manufacturing or packaging environment
• Good mechanical aptitude is required
• Three years of mechanical experience or training
• Must have basic knowledge of equipment and machinery
• Forklift operating experience a plus
• Willingness and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to apply new work methods effectively
• Proven troubleshooting skills
• Superior work history, including good attendance

Company Information

• Location: Metal Container Corporation in Jacksonville, FL
• Salary: $33.192 per hour ($49.788 OT Rate), 76 hours of straight time, 8 hours of OT per pay period. Quarterly bonus eligible based on KPIs. Double time for working on a holiday + holiday pay (a regular day's pay).
• Shift: 12-hour shifts (6:00am-6:00pm and 6:00pm-6:00am)
• Rotation: Rotate day and night shift every 4 weeks. 3 shifts on, 4 shifts off then 4 shifts on, 3 shifts off. Every other month there are 6 shifts off in a row.
• Full calendar schedule provided on first day of employment.
