About the role

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for performing technical duties in one of the functional areas: electronic, mechanical or systems.

Responsibilities

  • Complete tests, measurements, operations and process controls.
  • Perform technical duties on functional work group projects.
  • Use test techniques and procedures for key cell projects.
  • Maintain production tools and equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose product, process or program defects and repair them.
  • Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; perform wire preparation, stripping and crimping; perform harness repair and termination; use pertinent manual hand tools.
  • Maintain skills in electronics, hydraulics and mechanical assemblies, automated machine operation and programming.
  • Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • IPC 610 certification a plus, but not required.
  • 3 years Electro-Mechanical Technician experience.

Key Skills & Abilities

  • Mechanically inclined individual.
  • Able to use electric test equipment such as meters, power supplies, etc.
  • Able to follow procedures and processes.
  • Able to assess test results based on specifications.
  • Soldering capabilities preferred.
  • Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task to run multiple test and calibration equipment at the same time.

Schedule

Monday to Friday (4:00 PM - 12:00 AM)
