About the role
We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our team in the Cosmetics Plant on a 2nd shift schedule. This position operates on a four 10-hour day schedule starting at 3:00 PM and ending at 1:00 AM, Monday through Thursday. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of a collaborative team, learning all aspects of the plant’s operations. Our flow-to-work design allows technicians to gain new and unique experiences while learning complex manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include performing set-up and process adjustments, as well as managing autonomous and preventative maintenance tasks. The department emphasizes teamwork and ownership of business results.
Pay
- Associate Manufacturing Technician: $20.27/hour
- Manufacturing Technician I: $21.88/hour
Schedule
2nd shift: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM, Monday through Thursday (four 10-hour days).
Qualifications
Associate Technician
- High school diploma
- Attestation of English language ability—proficient in reading, speaking, and writing to understand instructions, standard operating procedures, safety warnings, notifications, trainings, and processes
- Ability to read, interpret, and verbally communicate GMP & FDA documentation and regulation
Manufacturing Technician
All above qualifications, plus:
- Prior experience with manufacturing food products, troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment, or working in a cGMP environment

Physical Requirements
- Frequent bending and continuous twisting for working on equipment, picking, gathering, packing orders, loading, combining orders, adding raw materials, and weigh-up
- Frequent computer operation (e.g., typing, reading monitor) for up to 6 hours
- Frequent gripping for up to 6 hours for operating hand and power tools, equipment controls, gripping ropes/chains, and selecting product
- Continuous lifting and carrying of 50-pound packed boxes and equipment
- Continuous standing and walking for up to 8 hours
- Continuous use of upper body (arms, wrists, hands) for up to 12 hours
- Continuous twisting for picking, gathering, packing orders, adding raw materials, blending, and turning while driving moving vehicles
- Frequent climbing for getting on and off equipment and ladders
About the Facility
The Cosmetics plant manufactures Health, Beauty, and Home Care product lines, including personal care items such as shampoos, conditioners, body wash, lotions, skin care, and serums, as well as oral care items like mouthwash, breath spray, and toothpaste. This high-volume plant provides opportunities to learn, develop, and grow multiple skillsets across various roles.
The department utilizes a wide range of equipment, from large DCI mixing tanks and Waukesha pumps to IWK, Ronchi, Groninger, and Pneumatic scale filling machines. Packaging equipment includes cartoners, cello wrappers, and case packers manufactured by IWK, IMA, and Jones. The facility has invested in automation, particularly collaborative robots, offering opportunities to learn and develop in packaging, mixing, and warehouse operations.
