About the role
We are looking for Production Operators to operate equipment and ensure quality output. You will maintain overall production efficiencies of assigned workstations, log machines when necessary, and communicate with appropriate personnel.
Responsibilities
- Support a safe work environment by following safety procedures and promptly reporting identified hazards.
- Perform Production Operator responsibilities and duties within a Fab organization, including technical tasks such as monitoring and responding to SPC charts, failed tool quals, processing engineering targets, SWRs, and other tests.
- Monitor and collect data, disposition lots, troubleshoot tool errors, and perform recovery tasks.
- Use computer-based programs and applications to perform daily duties.
- Run equipment based on current process specifications (e.g., procedures, change notifications).
- Organize workstations and maintain 6S standards.
- Make suggestions to improve quality and safety.
- Participate actively in assigned on-the-job and other required training, asking questions to increase knowledge and abilities.
- Complete certification requirements by demonstrating understanding and abilities.
- Receive and provide clear, accurate, and detailed pass-down information.
- Seek and provide feedback to leadership, coworkers, and support groups to drive positive changes in performance.
- Offer suggestions for improvements when appropriate.
- Seek clarification when in doubt.
- Identify and promptly report hazards.
- Follow safety protocols, use accurate lifting techniques, and work ergonomically.
- Complete certification and recertification requirements.
Requirements
- 0-3 years of experience.
Schedule
Day Shift – Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and alternate Wednesdays. 12-hour shifts from 06:45 AM – 07:00 PM EST.
This is currently a day position but may transition to a night shift.
Location
Manassas, VA – 20110 (Onsite).
Duration
12-month contract.
