Manufacturing Technician

About the role

Alliance Technical Group is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to join their team in Export, PA. This role involves installing analyzers, instrumentation, and industrial control systems, as well as performing various manufacturing and assembly tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install analyzers and instrumentation
• Wire industrial control systems
• Wire electrical power 120/240/480VAC service feeds and branch circuits
• Install conduit, junction boxes and raceways
• Perform basic metal fabrication
• Install instrumentation tubing, piping, and valves
• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints and drawings
• Perform a variety of other manufacturing / assembly tasks

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Technical certifications, advanced training, or additional education preferred
• Ability to read basic diagrams/blueprints
• Ability to drive a forklift (plus)
• Ability to work on a 6-foot ladder
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Occasionally lift in excess of 50 lbs alone or as a team lift with a partner
• Rigid conduit/piping threading (plus)
• Proven top-performer and team player in past jobs

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel up to 10%

Skills

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
• Ability to perform basic metal fabrication
• Good physical stamina and strength
• Team player with a "we, not me" attitude

Pay

The pay range for this entry-level role is $20-25 per hour.
