Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Assess training needs and apply and monitor training programs.
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on HR matters.
- Implement and revise the company’s compensation program.
- Create and revise job descriptions.
- Conduct annual salary surveys.
- Develop, revise, and recommend personnel policies and procedures.
- Maintain and revise the company’s handbook on policies and procedures.
- Perform benefits administration.
- Maintain affirmative action programs.
- Oversee exit interviews.
- Maintain department records and reports.
- Participate in administrative staff meetings.
Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Deep knowledge of HR functions (talent management, recruitment, employee relations, etc.).
- Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus.
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
- Strong ethics and reliability.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- People-oriented and results-driven.
- Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity, and development of HR within the company.
- Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment.
- Experience with rapid and complex changing work environments.
- Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement.
Pay
$85,000 - $100,000 per year
