Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and supervisors on HR-related questions, concerns, and processes.
- Partner with plant leadership on staffing needs, workforce planning, employee engagement, and operational HR initiatives.
- Support employee relations matters, including conducting investigations, advising on corrective actions, and coaching leaders through performance management processes.
- Administer HR policies, procedures, records, and compliance activities in alignment with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Support labor relations activities, grievance processes, and collective bargaining agreement interpretation where applicable.
- Analyze workforce metrics and assist with training, development, safety, and culture-building initiatives across the plant.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, distribution, or similar operational environment.
- Demonstrated experience supporting employee relations, HR compliance, and performance management processes.
- Strong communication, coaching, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to handle sensitive information with professionalism, sound judgment, and confidentiality.
