Managing Principal, Travel & Hospitality Consulting

Responsibilities

  • Build and expand trusted C-suite and senior stakeholder relationships within Travel, Hospitality, and Leisure clients (airlines, hotels, resorts, cruise, OTA, TMC, loyalty platforms), drive measurable value across existing accounts and identify industry-specific up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Lead business development and pre-sales efforts for Travel & Hospitality client engagements, including proposal and SOW development, executive presentations, and transformation roadmaps aligned to guest experience, operations, and revenue growth priorities
  • Provide subject matter expertise in Travel & Hospitality transformation initiatives, partner across EPAM horizontals to deliver large-scale programs spanning digital guest experience, loyalty, reservations, operations, revenue management, and platform modernization
  • Lead consulting engagements that deliver billable client work, own requirements definition, solution design, and execution oversight for complex, multi-workstream programs
  • Apply EPAM methodologies to design and implement industry-relevant strategic and technology solutions, balance speed, scalability, and operational realities unique to Travel & Hospitality environments
  • Analyze industry trends and client challenges (e.g., post-pandemic demand shifts, personalization, operational resilience, data/AI adoption, cost pressures) and contribute to Travel & Hospitality go-to-market offerings, reusable assets, and accelerators
  • Develop thought leadership in the Travel & Hospitality sector, including white papers, POVs, conference presentations, and client-facing materials to strengthen EPAM’s market positioning
  • Build and scale onshore/offshore consulting teams with Travel & Hospitality domain expertise, ensure consistent delivery quality across global engagements
  • Mentor and develop consultants, strengthen industry acumen, consulting rigor, and client impact across the practice

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in management consulting or as an industry practitioner, with significant exposure to Travel, Hospitality, or Leisure organizations
  • 10+ years of senior client engagement experience, including advising executives on industry-specific transformation initiatives
  • Demonstrated expertise across Travel & Hospitality business functions, such as guest/customer experience & personalization, loyalty and CRM ecosystems, reservations, distribution, and booking platforms, revenue management, pricing, and demand forecasting, operations, workforce, and supply chain optimization
  • Proven ability to translate Travel & Hospitality business challenges into actionable technology and process solutions
  • Strong experience that leads large, multi-disciplinary consulting teams in an onshore/offshore delivery model
  • Hands-on experience with program and project leadership, including scoping, estimates, requirements, and delivery governance across complex implementations
  • Ability to communicate complex business and technical concepts to executive audiences through compelling presentations and written materials
  • Practical experience with process mapping, business case development, hypotheses-based analysis, and solution evaluation in large-scale environments
  • Track record of success in business development, account expansion, and pre-sales support within Travel & Hospitality or adjacent industries

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Professional certifications in management consulting or relevant fields (e.g., PMP, CAPM)
  • Experience with Agile delivery models

$225,000 - $260,000 USD
