About the role

The Managing Consultant at Berkeley Research Group (BRG) specializes in consulting healthcare providers, payers, investors, and other stakeholders. They partner with organizations to drive sustainable performance improvement and long-term growth through various strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Support project workstream(s) under the direction of the project workstream/pilar, or serve as the SME if in the individual's core-knowledge area.
  • Assists SMEs in establishing client processes/policies that maximize the quality and efficiency of client operations.
  • Maintains licensure and certifications in place at the time of assuming the role.
  • Develops thought leadership that advances self and BRG’s brand in thought leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Either 6+ years of experience in clinical performance improvement consulting or 10+ years of industry experience in a relevant role with relevant licensure/certification(s).
  • Bachelor's Degree required in health or related field from an accredited college/university, or equivalent training/experience; Master's Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Board Certification(s) preferred in area of subject matter expertise.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics and benchmarking tools.
  • Credible as a subject matter expert in specific domain of expertise.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management experience.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and client management skills.
  • Expanded operational knowledge of most procedural departments such as the Operating Room, PACU, Ambulatory Surgery, Sterile Processing, Preadmission Testing, Endoscopy, and the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and the standards of care associated with them.
  • Past experience in emergency services, including pre-hospital or inter-facility Emergency Services clinical experience.

Benefits

BRG offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $165,000, with the exact amount determined based on qualifications and experience. Candidates must be able to submit verification of their legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.
