Under general direction of the Field Division Manager, the incumbent is responsible for budgeting, planning, directing, organizing, and controlling all engineering activities of the Civil and Electrical/Mechanical Engineering units of the San Luis Field Division. This role oversees and directs operations and maintenance activities for the Engineering Branch, including the issuance and review of preventive maintenance schedules and programs. The incumbent coordinates all engineering activities with Division of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) headquarter staff, DOE, USBR, and local water districts. Decisions with far-reaching implications may sometimes be required without time for detailed consideration. Duties are performed utilizing computer-related programs and SAP transactions.
Responsibilities
- Budget, plan, direct, organize, and control all engineering activities of the Civil and Electrical/Mechanical Engineering units.
- Oversee and direct operations and maintenance activities for the Engineering Branch, including preventive maintenance schedules and programs.
- Coordinate engineering activities with Division of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) headquarter staff, DOE, USBR, and local water districts.
- Make decisions with far-reaching implications, sometimes under time constraints.
- Utilize computer-related programs and SAP transactions to perform duties.

$12,562.00 - $15,724.00 per month
