MANAGER - RESPIRATORY CARE NICU

About the role

The Neonatal ICU Respiratory Care Manager is responsible for respiratory care activities within the neonatal intensive care unit. He/she supports the direction and new program development of the Respiratory Care Department and of the NICU unit through participating and leading growth and change. He/she assures operational and fiscal accountabilities are met. Staff development is a key responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Direct respiratory care activities within the NICU
• Support direction and new program development for the Respiratory Care Department and NICU unit
• Participate in and lead growth and change initiatives
• Ensure operational and fiscal accountabilities are met
• Oversee staff development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care, Healthcare administration, or other applicable field
• Valid Ohio Respiratory Care license
• Valid Registered Respiratory credential through the NBRC
• 3-5 years of job related experience as an RTT in a neonatal critical care Level III NICU
• Neonatal critical Level III NICU responsibilities including ventilator management
• Demonstrated participation or leadership in quality improvement initiatives
• Interdisciplinary care activities experience

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree
• Current CPR certification
• NPR Certification
• Neonatal and Pediatric Specialty Certification
• Neonatal intubation experience
