Manager Respiratory Care

About the role

The position is a licensed professional therapist who is responsible for maintaining standards of respiratory therapy and pulmonary lab and ethical practice in accordance with regulatory agencies and California practice requirements. The Manager is accountable and responsible for the daily operations of the Respiratory and Pulmonary Departments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and support department activities and staff to assure the philosophy and objectives of patient care services are met and assure resources are available for the efficient, cost effective operation of the department.
• Promote and support a collaborative team approach in providing care to neonatal, adolescent, young, middle and older adult patients.
• Establish policies, procedures, standards and objectives to provide the highest standard of patient care.

Requirements

• California Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association.
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association.
• Certified Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization.
• 3 years Management experience.
• 2 years Experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in an acute care setting.
• Experience as a NICU Therapist or Leader in an acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance.

Pay

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

This position is Full-time and will work Day shifts.
