About the Role

The Manager of Respiratory Care assists the Chief Nursing Officer in developing, implementing, and overseeing diagnostic and therapeutic patient care services in compliance with hospital policies and medical directives. This leadership role manages departmental resources, performs clinical duties, operates equipment, and provides advanced clinical expertise and staff education across all patient settings. The role requires supervising, guiding, and supporting the respiratory care team to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing respiratory care services
• Manage departmental resources and staff

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
• Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 6 years of respiratory care experience
• At least 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience
