About the Role

Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team while making a meaningful impact across the Greater Fond du Lac market. As the Manager of Rehabilitation & Athletic Training Services, you will oversee both inpatient and outpatient therapy operations, as well as athletic training services, ensuring high-quality patient care, operational excellence, and team development. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced healthcare professional with a proven background in managing therapy services, building strong teams, and driving clinical and operational outcomes. The manager will work closely with market and clinical leadership to support strategic initiatives, enhance patient experiences, and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability. This position reports directly to the regional rehabilitation leadership team and offers the opportunity to shape therapy and athletic training services across a growing market.

Job Summary

Manages the daily operations of rehabilitative services.

Responsibilities

  • Develops specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization
  • Assesses the quality of patient care and coordinates services with patients and healthcare providers
  • Manages staff relations and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll
  • Oversees departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations
  • Performs patient treatment as needed
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Four years experience, with two years in leadership
  • Previous leadership experience is required
  • Strong operational and team management skills
  • Passion for developing staff and advancing rehabilitation services
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and service excellence

Licenses and Certifications

State of Work Location: Illinois

  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) – American Heart Association (AHA)
  • One of the following:
    • Speech-Language Pathologist, Licensed – Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
    • Occupational Therapist – Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
    • Physical Therapist, Licensed – Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
    • Athletic Trainer – Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC) AND Licensed Athletic Trainer – Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)

State of Work Location: Missouri

  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) – American Heart Association (AHA)

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication
  • Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs
  • Rare climbing

Schedule

Day Shift (United States of America) — 40 hours per week
