Manager - Rehabilitation Services

About the role

The Manager - Rehabilitation Services role oversees daily operations of inpatient and outpatient Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, and other department services. This position provides leadership to department staff and ensures safe and quality patient care. The Manager collaborates with the Regional Director to maintain efficient workflows, support staff development, and ensure adherence to hospital policies and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of rehabilitation services
• Provide leadership to department staff
• Ensure safe and quality patient care
• Maintain accreditation and regulatory compliance of therapy services
• Support clinical competence of staff
• Manage the financial health of the department
• Collaborate with the Regional Director to improve workflows
• Facilitate staff development and adherence to policies

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech therapy required
• Licenses/Certifications: Current state licensure in physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech therapy required
• Experience: Three years of clinical experience in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology required; experience in a hospital setting preferred; leadership experience preferred

• Effective communication with all levels of leadership, care team, providers, vendors, and state/regulatory agencies
• Demonstrated leadership competencies including change leadership, performance management, strategic thinking, and team development
