About the role
Advocate Health is seeking a Physical/Occupational Therapist to join our team. This position offers up to $7,500 in relocation assistance for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Adheres to general hospital standards to maintain a cooperative work environment.
- Follows hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Contributes to the quality of services provided.
- Manages daily operations and utilizes resources efficiently.
- Assists with the operation of the Physical/Occupational Therapy department.
- Hires, supervises, and evaluates staff.
- Maintains accurate documentation and ensures compliance with standards.
- Promotes professional development and education of other healthcare workers.
- Communicates effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers.
- Provides appropriate patient care according to age/developmental guidelines.
- Maintains competence through regular updates on growth and development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited physical or occupational therapy program.
- Current licensure in the state of practice.
- CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C.
Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.

Pay
$51.05 - $76.60 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
M-F, 40 hours per week.
