About the role

Advocate Health is seeking a Physical/Occupational Therapist to join our team. This position offers up to $7,500 in relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to general hospital standards to maintain a cooperative work environment.
  • Follows hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Contributes to the quality of services provided.
  • Manages daily operations and utilizes resources efficiently.
  • Assists with the operation of the Physical/Occupational Therapy department.
  • Hires, supervises, and evaluates staff.
  • Maintains accurate documentation and ensures compliance with standards.
  • Promotes professional development and education of other healthcare workers.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers.
  • Provides appropriate patient care according to age/developmental guidelines.
  • Maintains competence through regular updates on growth and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited physical or occupational therapy program.
  • Current licensure in the state of practice.
  • CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.

Pay

$51.05 - $76.60 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

M-F, 40 hours per week.
