Manager - Rehabilitation Services

About the role

The Manager - Rehabilitation Services role oversees daily operations of inpatient and outpatient Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, and other department services. They provide leadership to department staff and ensure safe and quality patient care. This position is accountable for accreditation and regulatory compliance, clinical competence of staff, and financial health of the department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of rehabilitation services
• Provide leadership to department staff
• Ensure safe and quality patient care
• Maintain accreditation and regulatory compliance of therapy services
• Support staff development and ensure adherence to hospital policies and evidence-based practices
• Collaborate with the Regional Director to maintain efficient workflows

Requirements

• Current state licensure in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy
• Three years of clinical experience in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Demonstrated leadership competencies including change leadership, performance management, strategic thinking, and team development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy

Skills

• Effective communication with all levels of leadership, care team, providers, vendors, and state/regulatory agencies
