Manager - Rehab

Responsibilities

• Coordinate efforts of Rehab staff as they interface with hospital patients, departments, programs, and physicians in a manner that is safe, efficient, and cost-effective while maintaining compliance with state, federal, and professional standards.
• Hire, train, and supervise Rehabilitation staff.
• Develop and maintain Rehabilitation Services Programs to meet identified community needs.
• Manage fiscal and personnel resources in Rehabilitation Services.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of physical therapy with a BS or BA degree, OR Bachelor or Master Degree in Occupational Therapy, OR Graduate of an accredited college or university with Bachelors in speech therapy required.
• MS Degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• Five years of clinical practice with supervisory experience.
• Licensed by the Physical Therapy Board of state, OR current state Occupational Therapy certification/license, OR licensed by the current state in Speech-Language Pathology.
• BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current.
• National Board for Certification Occupational Therapy Certification, AOTA and OTAC preferred.

Pay

Saint Joseph Hospital - Elgin offers competitive compensation. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $93,724 to $135,200 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
