Manager of Radiology Operations (Nuclear Medicine, PET, Ultrasound, Echo)
Oversee the day-to-day operations of our diagnostic Nuclear Med/PET, Ultrasound/Echo team, ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality diagnostic services while enhancing the patient experience. Be on the front lines coordinating patient flow and throughput. Supervise a dynamic, highly motivated, team. Regularly assess departmental processes, and recommend ways to continuously improve upon our performance.
This position will be a full time position at NYP Hudson Valley Hospital located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester, NY 10567.
Preferred Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Previous experience supervising radiology staff in a hospital setting
Required Criteria
- Graduate of an accredited radiology program
- Minimum five years previous work related experience
- Minimum two years previous Supervisor experience
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certifying Board (NMTCB).
- Licensure by the NYS Department of Health.
- Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine technology usually obtained by completion of an accredited and approved Nuclear Medicine Program or graduate of Committee of Allied Health and Accreditation (AMA) Accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program or equivalent.
- Approximately three years progressively more related experience necessary in order to gain knowledge in imaging operations to lead and direct subordinate personnel.
- Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with patients, patient’s families, physicians, and other health care providers when coordinating and performing exams.
- Analytical skills in order to evaluate and perform radiology procedures, and to plan and prepare work schedules, determine work priorities, provide input into development of departmental policies, procedures, and budgets, evaluates new equipment and supplies, and recommends quality improvement.
- Organizational skills necessary in order to plan and implement several procedures, and to achieve optimal nuclear medicine services ordered by physicians and effectively accomplish a variety of requests from physicians and staff.
- Assists in formulating budgetary requirements for capital, operating and salary expenditures.

Pay
Salary Range $154,600-$193,000/Annual
