Responsibilities
- Provides health care services and exercises professional judgment.
- Maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.
- Financial management and planning of on-going operations.
- Patient education and staff education.
- Oversee and direct department operations to maintain high quality patient care.
- Monitor departmental operations for compliance with governmental regulations, standards, and guidelines.
- Update CPT codes annually and comply with MQSA.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in management and/or administrative skills.
- Five years of Radiology experience, including one to three years of supervisory experience.
- Five years of CT/MRI or Special Procedure experience.
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current BLS (American Heart Association) Certification.
- Certification by the State of California for Diagnostic and Fluoroscopic procedures.
- MAB (Management Accountability Board) completed on the first day of work.
