Manager, Radiology

Responsibilities

• Provides health care services and exercises professional judgment.
• Maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.
• Financial management and planning of on-going operations.
• Patient education and staff education.
• Oversee and direct department operations to maintain high quality patient care.
• Monitor departmental operations for compliance with governmental regulations, standards, and guidelines.
• Update CPT codes annually and comply with MQSA.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in management and/or administrative skills.
• Five years of Radiology experience, including one to three years of supervisory experience.
• Five years of CT/MRI or Special Procedure experience.
• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current BLS (American Heart Association) Certification.
• Certification by the State of California for Diagnostic and Fluoroscopic procedures.
• MAB (Management Accountability Board) completed on the first day of work.
