About the role

Oversee the day-to-day operations of our diagnostic Nuclear Medicine/PET, Ultrasound, and Echo teams, ensuring efficient delivery of high-quality diagnostic services while enhancing the patient experience. Coordinate patient flow and throughput, supervise a dynamic team, and assess departmental processes to recommend performance improvements. This is a full-time position located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of radiology professionals in Nuclear Medicine, PET, Ultrasound, and Echo.
  • Coordinate patient flow and throughput to optimize department efficiency.
  • Regularly evaluate and improve departmental processes and performance.
  • Assist in formulating budgetary requirements for capital, operating, and salary expenditures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers.
  • Plan and prepare work schedules, determine priorities, and develop departmental policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate new equipment and supplies, and recommend quality improvements.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
  • Minimum five years of related work experience.
  • Minimum two years of supervisory experience.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certifying Board (NMTCB).
  • Licensure by the NYS Department of Health.
  • Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine technology, typically obtained through completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program or equivalent.
  • Approximately three years of progressively responsible experience in imaging operations to lead and direct personnel.

Pay

Salary Range: $154,600–$193,000/Annual.
