About the role

The Manager-on-Deck (MOD) is responsible for the overall operational and financial performance of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability through expense control, human resource management, and maintaining customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• People: Set expectations, communicate regularly, coach and counsel employees, ensure policy compliance, participate in recruiting and hiring, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Financials: Analyze business trends, develop plans to meet sales and profit targets, review invoices, and safeguard company assets.
• Facilities: Maintain store cleanliness, ensure equipment functionality, and manage inventory returns and credits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years management or automotive industry experience.
• Experience coaching teams, meeting sales and profit goals, and developing strategic plans.
• Preferred background as an Automotive Technician, valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain a State Inspector License.
• Minimum age of 18 and ability to work a minimum of five days, including weekends.

Skills

Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, work in varying environmental conditions, and handle moderate to loud noise levels. Reasonable accommodations are provided for employees with disabilities.
