About the role

The Manager-on-Deck (MOD) oversees overall store performance, focusing on financial and operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining guest services and ensuring maximum sales and profitability through expense management, human resources, and cost controls.
• Leading and coaching staff, setting expectations, conducting performance evaluations, and ensuring policy compliance in collaboration with HR.
• Analyzing business trends, developing plans to meet sales and profit targets, and reviewing invoices for business growth opportunities.
• Managing store facilities by ensuring cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and proper handling of parts and assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years management or automotive industry experience
• Proven success in meeting sales/profit goals
• Effective team leadership
• Communication skills
• Preferred background includes automotive technician experience
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 18 years old
• Able to obtain a State Inspector License if needed

Physical & Working Conditions

• Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures
