About the role

The Manager-on-Deck is responsible for overseeing overall store performance, including financial and operational aspects, by ensuring excellent guest service, maximizing sales, controlling expenses, and managing human resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach team members, set expectations, and ensure compliance with company policies through regular communication, meetings, and store audits.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and evaluate staff performance in partnership with HR.
• Analyze business trends, develop strategies to meet sales and profit targets, and review invoices to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising standards, and equipment functionality, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
• Manage physical and financial assets, follow proper cash handling procedures, and ensure timely return of unused parts for credit.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of management or automotive industry experience, with proven success in meeting sales and profit goals.
• Preferred automotive technician background; valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a State Inspector License within 30 days.

• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
• Ability to develop and execute plans aligned with business objectives.

Physical & Working Conditions
