Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of all Outreach fundraising, donor cultivation, marketing, and community events.
- Design donor-centered event experiences that support donor acquisition, engagement, retention, and long-term giving.
- Develop measurable goals for each event, including donor conversion, retention, and revenue outcomes.
- Partner with gift officers to identify, invite, and cultivate prospective donors while creating intentional pathways from event attendee to long-term funding partner.
- Collaborate with leadership on sponsorship strategies, fundraising goals, and donor engagement initiatives.
- Oversee all aspects of event planning, including budgets, timelines, vendor relationships, venue coordination, logistics, and post-event follow-up.
- Serve as the operational hub for the Resource Development team by coordinating priorities, supporting leadership initiatives, and ensuring projects move efficiently from planning through execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 4–6 years of experience in fundraising, donor engagement, event strategy, nonprofit development, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success planning and executing fundraising or donor engagement events that produce measurable results.
- Experience developing donor relationships and supporting fundraising initiatives.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and support senior leadership.
- Experience managing event budgets, vendors, timelines, and complex logistics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor database/CRM systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
