Responsibilities
- Cook up and execute group bookings, including restaurant events.
- Develop and present customized event proposals, including menus, entertainment, and décor.
- Prepare and maintain detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
- Collaborate with internal partners to fulfill guest requirements and special requests.
- Conduct site tours, tastings, and pre-event meetings.
- Build and maintain client relationships by proactively engaging repeat guests.
- Stay informed on property offerings and provide expert recommendations.
- Participate in departmental meetings and complete additional assignments as directed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel operations, sales, food and beverage, or restaurant sales.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce, GuestCenter, Tripleseat, or similar systems preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with professional phone and email etiquette.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Prior professional cleaning experience preferred.
