Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Growth Marketing is responsible for owning the growth strategy for each of our practices in partnership with the Head of Marketing. This role involves developing plans for new practice onboarding and the ongoing roadmap for existing accounts, including channel mix, budget allocation, growth targets, and sequencing of initiatives.

About the Role

Based in the US-Remote with a preference for a candidate near Chicago, IL, where our future HQ will be located, this role requires a strong background in growth or performance marketing, particularly in healthcare, wellness, beauty, or aesthetic industries. The ideal candidate will have a mix of agency and in-house experience, direct hands-on expertise across all three channels (PPC, SEO, email), and a deep understanding of Google Ads, Meta Ads, and GA4.

Responsibilities

  • Build playbooks, set KPIs, and hold the team accountable
  • Manage client relationships at the senior level
  • Lead strategic reviews, present results, and handle escalations
  • Lead a team of managers, strategists, and specialists across the three channels
  • Coach the team, raise the bar on craft, run reviews, and make the case for hiring
  • Define what good looks like at the account and agency levels
  • Focus on CAC, lead quality, organic traffic, email revenue, and retention

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years in growth or performance marketing, ideally a mix of agency and in-house experience
  • Healthcare wellness, beauty or aesthetic adjacent industry experience
  • Direct, hands-on expertise across all three channels
  • Personal experience building campaigns, writing briefs, debugging tracking, and shipping email programs that move revenue
  • Deep working knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4
  • Experience configuring conversions, debugging attribution, and making bid strategy decisions backed by data
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team
  • Ability to sit in a room with a Head of Marketing and a surgeon, hold your own on the plan, and turn the conversation into a clear path forward for your team
  • Ability to sit across from a surgeon, explain what's working and what isn't in plain language, and walk out with alignment on the next move

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with HIPAA-adjacent advertising constraints and the editorial sensitivity required for aesthetic and surgical content
  • Experience working with global teams and clients
  • Experience supporting automation builds to create products for teams

What Good Looks Like at 12 Months

  • Lead quality and CAC trending the right direction across the portfolio, with a clear feedback loop from consult-booked and consult-converted data into bidding and targeting
  • Organic traffic and qualified search visibility growing for priority procedures across practices
  • Email revenue contribution measurably up. Lists are healthier, segmentation is sharper, automations are doing more of the work
  • New practice onboardings ramp faster and hit performance benchmarks sooner because the strategy you and the Head of Marketing built actually holds up in execution
  • Your team is better than it was when you arrived. People are growing, the work is sharper, and you've built systems that don't fall over when someone is out
