About the role
Drive US Co-Brand credit card cardmember spend and engagement through marketing campaigns. Leverage owned and partner channels to deliver against Cardmember spend targets, while relying on data-driven decisions. Ensure marketing objectives support overall IHG and partner marketing vision, objectives and goals while remaining competitive in the market.
Responsibilities
- Develop, communicate and implement an annual Co-Brand Portfolio (Cardmember) marketing plan.
- Develop processes and delivery systems for all marketing programs that result in a continuous improvement of actual performance versus strategy.
- Monitor progress against agreed objectives, including financial, and formally report progress at defined intervals.
- Monitor and control all budgeted product expenditure to constantly achieve enhanced cost effectiveness and product value, and control and approve the work of assigned promotional design agencies on marketing initiatives.
- Conduct monthly budget audits and reconcile budget allocations.
- Through liaising with stakeholder teams, influence success and implementation of marketing initiatives.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships across all functions at all levels to ensure maximum benefit from cross-functional synergies.
- Initiate, develop and manage all aspects of marketing initiatives and standards, including Bank regulations and controls.
- May independently direct specific product initiatives to include strategic planning, project management, implementation, evaluation and training.
- Monitor all relevant competitive activity across all elements of the marketing mix and make appropriate recommendations to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
- Eight or more years of progressive work-related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/processes related to the position including direct marketing or database marketing experience.
- Experience with campaign management, comms plan development, go-to-market strategies and marketing tools (MRM and Story).
- Familiarity with direct marketing and analytics techniques and systems (campaign management processes and analysis).
- Experience with test-and-learn scenarios and planning matrices, execution across a variety of channels.
- Ability to work in an integrated creative environment and to translate customer analytics output into insight for development of creative briefs.
- Ability to direct creative process (es) to build compelling messaging and creative concepts, while understanding Legal and Compliance impacts from financial partners.
- Experience with identifying marketing opportunities utilizing third party information. Ability to translate observations into findings and business applications.

Pay
$90,000.00 to $110,000.00
Schedule
Hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in the Atlanta office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
