About the role
Deloitte's Audit & Assurance (A&A) Growth Team is seeking a Business Development Manager with a passion for driving revenue growth and fostering client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with local leaders to analyze the market and build a portfolio of strategic targets.
- Support individual professionals and account teams with company and competitor research, relationship mapping, and developing and tracking action plans.
- Drive a growth culture mentality within the A&A practice by meeting with partners and staff, presenting, and training on tools.
- Meet with account teams to vet and revise strategic plans, track action items, and drive accountability.
- Be a trusted advisor to growth leaders and champion the Green Dot mindset.
- Develop and execute internal communications strategy and serve as a subject-matter expert on marketplace and industry developments.
- Leverage Salesforce CRM system to track progress and report on target lists.
- Lead and contribute to special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, English, journalism, communications, or related field or equivalent years of relevant experience.
- 5+ years of related experience, including marketing, pursuit management, or business development.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong relationship development and persuasive skills at all levels of the organization.
- Strong project- and people-management skills.
- Strong analytic, critical thinking, and creative capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel up to 10% based on work requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree.
- 8+ years of experience.
- Big Four, audit, or professional services marketing, business development, or pursuit experience.
- Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM systems.
