About the role

Deloitte's Audit & Assurance (A&A) Growth Team is seeking a Business Development Manager with a passion for relationship building and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the market and build a portfolio of strategic targets
  • Support individual professionals and account teams with company and competitor research, relationship mapping, and action plans
  • Drive a growth culture mentality within the A&A practice by meeting with partners and staff, presenting, and training on tools
  • Meet with account teams to vet and revise strategic plans, track action items, and drive accountability and progress
  • Be a trusted advisor to growth leaders and champion the Green Dot mindset
  • Develop and execute internal communications strategy
  • Leverage Salesforce CRM system to track progress and report on target lists
  • Lead and contribute to special projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, English, journalism, communications, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Experience in marketing, pursuit management, or business development
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • Excellent relationship development and persuasive skills at all levels of the organization
  • Strong project- and people-management skills
  • Strong analytic, critical thinking, and creative capabilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel up to 10% based on work needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Big Four, audit, or professional services marketing, business development, or pursuit experience
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM systems
