About the role
Deloitte's Audit & Assurance (A&A) Growth Team is seeking a Business Development Manager with a passion for relationship building and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the market and build a portfolio of strategic targets
- Support individual professionals and account teams with company and competitor research, relationship mapping, and action plans
- Drive a growth culture mentality within the A&A practice by meeting with partners and staff, presenting, and training on tools
- Meet with account teams to vet and revise strategic plans, track action items, and drive accountability and progress
- Be a trusted advisor to growth leaders and champion the Green Dot mindset
- Develop and execute internal communications strategy
- Leverage Salesforce CRM system to track progress and report on target lists
- Lead and contribute to special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, English, journalism, communications, or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of related experience
- Experience in marketing, pursuit management, or business development
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Excellent relationship development and persuasive skills at all levels of the organization
- Strong project- and people-management skills
- Strong analytic, critical thinking, and creative capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel up to 10% based on work needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- 8+ years of experience
- Big Four, audit, or professional services marketing, business development, or pursuit experience
- Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM systems
