About the role
Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance (A&A) Growth Team is seeking a Business Development Manager with a passion for driving revenue growth through strategic relationships.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with local leaders to analyze the market and build a portfolio of strategic targets.
- Support individual professionals and account teams with company and competitor research, relationship mapping, and developing action plans.
- Drive a growth culture mentality within the A&A practice by meeting with and presenting to partners and staff.
- Help develop and execute internal communications strategy in support of the market’s A&A growth program.
- Lead and contribute to special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, English, journalism, communications, or related field or equivalent years of relevant experience
- 5+ years of related experience
- Experience in marketing, pursuit management, or business development
- Excellent communication skills—verbal and written
- Excellent relationship development and persuasive skills
- Strong project- and people-management skills
- Strong analytic, critical thinking, and creative capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel up to 10% based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- 8+ years of experience preferred
- Big Four, audit, or professional services marketing, business development, or pursuit experience preferred
- Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM a plus
Pay
$84,300 to $173,300
