Mammography Technologist - Weekends

About the role

This position involves performing mammography exams to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment while adhering to safety and quality standards such as ACR and MQSA.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient information and provide clear instructions
• Ensure proper imaging protocols are followed
• Maintain mammography equipment
• Participate in ongoing education and training
• Work independently with strong communication and customer service skills
• Apply knowledge of radiologic procedures and safety protocols

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiology or a related field
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and Mammography
• State license or eligibility to obtain one
• Minimum of two years of mammography experience

Physical demands

• Prolonged standing and manual dexterity
• Lifting and positioning patients
• Exposure to bodily fluids

Pay

$40.53 - $51.67 per hour
