About the role
This role involves performing mammography exams to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment, following safety and quality standards such as ACR and MQSA.
Responsibilities
- Independently conduct imaging procedures
- Verify patient information and provide clear instructions
- Ensure equipment safety and quality control
- Maintain supplies and coordinate with staff
- Potentially mentor students or new technologists
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Radiology or a related field
- ARRT certification in radiologic technology and mammography
- State license or eligibility
- At least two years of experience
Skills
- Knowledge of radiologic procedures and radiation safety
- Strong communication and customer service
- Organization and ability to work independently
