Mammography Technologist - Weekends

About the role

This role involves performing mammography exams to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment, ensuring all procedures meet ACR and MQSA standards.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient information and provide clear instructions during exams.
• Maintain safety protocols and conduct quality control on mammography equipment.
• Work independently and coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and efficient procedures.
• May involve teaching students or new staff as needed.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiology or a related field.
• ARRT certifications in Radiologic Technology and Mammography.
• Eligibility for state licensing.
• At least two years of experience in mammography or a related radiologic role.

Skills

• Knowledge of radiologic procedures and radiation safety.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service abilities.
• Manual dexterity and physical ability to stand, lift, and perform exams.
• Sensory acuity for accurate patient assessment and equipment operation.

Pay

$40.53 - $51.67 per hour.
