About the role
We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our production team in a food manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality checks on finished products
- Inspect machinery for malfunctions
- Verify seals and temperatures
- Conduct metal detector and calibration checks
- Ensure correct labeling and counts
- Assist with production tasks such as can opening and salad preparation
- Complete accurate documentation
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery
- Communicate issues to maintenance
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and push/pull 50+ pounds
- Ability to work in cold/warm environments (34–36°F)
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to read and write in English
- Previous experience in food safety and manufacturing is preferred
Skills
