Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

Position Description

Title: Machine Operator - 3rd Shift
Schedule: Monday - Friday 11:00pm - 7:30am
Department: Production
Immediate Supervisor: Plant Supervisory Staff
Status: Hourly Non-Exempt

Position Purpose

Operates mailer equipment
Principle Accountabilities:

• Safe, controlled set-up, operation, and troubleshooting equipment and processes.
• Ensure product is manufactured and completed as per technical specifications.
• Maintain equipment and set-up parameters.
• Ensure materials required for changeover are available and secured.
• Record quality and production metrics.
• Ensure accurate inventory and effective control of materials and supplies.
• Coach and mentor assistants.
• Perform quality control checks.
• Must have basic computer skills, AS400, Microsoft Office, and basic math skills.

Essential Skills And Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Must have basic computer skills, AS400, Microsoft Office, and basic math skills.
