Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Effectively operate a variety of machines and maintain quality of packaging within assigned Center of Excellence
• Maintain a constant vigilance to the quality of the packaging process and reports issues when they arise in a timely manner to the mechanic
• Clear jams, change labels, replace ribbons, films, tape, neck band material, cotton and adjust accordingly
• Record necessary date as required on all machine logs, downtime reports, and material yield logs
• Check quality Lot# Exp Date of packages in assigned room and assist with equipment challenges
• Read and understand Human Machine Interface screens and alarms
• Communicate with Line Leader and Material Handlers to ensure all production components are never in shortage
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area
