About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operate the packaging system monitoring overall performance, efficiency and quality.
  • Perform equipment start-up, shut-down and preventive maintenance.
  • Sample and monitor product quality coming off the system, making modifications as needed.
  • Troubleshoot packaging system performance and quality problems, correcting them and stabilizing performance as they occur.
  • Maintain production, efficiency and quality records related to the packaging system operation.
  • Complete the production process for printed material by operating bindery/packaging equipment.
  • Support the manufacture of personal products through a continuous production operation, requiring an understanding of work methods and procedures as well as various binding machines.
  • Applies limited knowledge and expertise applicable to specialty for the implementation of predominantly short-term tasks and projects for business needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 0 - 3 years previous machine operating or production experience in a team environment preferred.
  • Average to above average mechanical ability helpful.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

  • Manufacturing Environment - walking, standing, bending, twisting, grasping, reaching above and below shoulder, lifting up to 35 pounds on a regular basis and up to 70 pounds on occasion.
  • Must wear hearing protection on the production floor.

Pay

Hourly Pay Rate: $17.50 and up DOE, plus $1.75 hourly shift differential

Schedule

Sunday - Thursday 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
