Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new LTL shipper accounts
- Build and grow relationships with existing customers
- Work with BDMs in the FTL and TM groups to explore other transportation modes
- Expand business within current accounts
- Manage and advance a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools
- Conduct customer onboarding, including contract negotiation, account setup, and operational handoff
- Advise clients on LTL shipping and pricing
- Collaborate with leadership to refine sales strategies and drive business growth
Requirements
- 1-2 years of proven success in high-performance B2B sales, preferably in LTL and freight brokerage, logistics, or a related industry
- Demonstrated ability to develop and close new business through cold calling, networking, and strategic outreach
- Track record of exceeding sales targets in a competitive, quota-driven environment
- Proficiency with CRM tools and disciplined pipeline management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and influence others
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive with minimal supervision
- Experience in transportation, manufacturing, distribution, or food industries a plus
- Willingness to travel as needed
