LPN Shift Supervisor - Per Diem: Sunday and Monday 3PM-11PM

About the role

The LPN Supervisor oversees, mentors, and nurtures a team of healthcare professionals in the Wellness/Resident Services Center of The Bristal, a luxury assisted living community. This role involves providing care and administering medications to residents, as well as leading the team in managing residents' activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor a team of nurses, HHA's, resident care aides, and medication technicians
• Provide care and administer medications to residents
• Mentor and lead the team in managing residents' activities of daily living
• Act as shift supervisor in the absence of the Director of Wellness
• Follow all policies and procedures and adhere to the Director's instructions
• Assist residents with Alzheimer's disease and dementia (preferred)

Requirements

• Staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home, or similar environment
• Active LPN certification
• Desire to improve the quality of life of residents
• Caring, reliable, and observant nature
• Understanding of MAR’s and doctors' orders

Qualifications

• Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia (preferred)
