LPN Shift Supervisor - Per Diem: Sunday and Monday 11PM-7AM

About the role

The LPN Supervisor oversees, mentors, and nurtures a team of healthcare professionals in the Wellness/Resident Services Center of The Bristal, a luxury assisted living community. This role requires acting as the shift supervisor in the absence of the Director, providing care to residents, and leading the team in administering medications and managing activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor a team of nurses, HHA's, resident care aides, and medication technicians
• Provide care and assistance to residents in managing their ADLs and administering medications
• Act as shift supervisor in the absence of the Director
• Care for residents with skill and genuine kindness
• Follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to the instructions of the Director of Wellness
• Supervise and oversee medication administration
• Assist with tasks such as helping residents with Alzheimer's disease and dementia
• Ensure compliance with MAR’s and doctors' orders
• Prioritize, multitask, and work independently

Requirements

• Staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home, or similar environment
• Active LPN certification
• A genuine desire to improve the quality of life of residents
