LPN Shift Supervisor - Per Diem: Sunday and Monday 7AM-3PM

About the role

The LPN Supervisor oversees, mentors, and nurtures a team of healthcare professionals in the Wellness/Resident Services Center of The Bristal, a luxury assisted living community. This position requires acting as the shift supervisor in the absence of the Director, providing care and administering medications to residents, and leading the team in caring for residents with skill and genuine kindness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor a team of nurses, HHA’s, resident care aides, and medication technicians
• Provide care and administer medications to residents
• Care for residents with skill and genuine kindness
• Act as shift supervisor in the absence of the Director
• Follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to the instructions of the Director of Wellness
• Supervise and oversee staff members, including ensuring adherence to MAR’s and doctors' orders
• Assist residents with Alzheimer's disease and dementia (preferred)
• Excell in prioritizing, multi-tasking, and working independently

Requirements

• Staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home, or similar environment
• Active LPN certification
• A genuine desire to improve the quality of life of residents
